Would a new boiler save me money on my gas bills?

Yes, it should. Every new boiler you can buy in the UK today is at least 90% efficient, or A-rated.

What does a boiler's efficiency mean.

If your boiler is 90% efficient, only 10% of the energy is lost. On the flipside, if your boiler’s efficiency is 70%, you’ll lose 30%.

However, you will still pay for 100% of the energy you use, meaning it's 100% worthwhile upgrading your boiler if you're eligible for free funding, or can afford to do so privately.

Why are new boilers more efficient?

In the UK, a 2007 law made it compulsory for all new boilers to be ‘condensing’ boilers. This is a modern design that’s much more efficient than the old style of boiler.

Will you remove my old boiler?

Yes, your older (or faulty boiler) will be removed from your home by a professional installer.
