WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY
There are many ways that you can be eligible for ECO4 funding. Get in touch with our team today to find out if you meet the eligibility criteria.
To apply for the ECO4 grant you need to be a claimant of one of the following benefits:
- Income based Jobseekers Allowance
- Income related Employment & Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credits
- Universal Credit
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit (Guaranteed)
- Pension Credit (Savings)

Your home must also fall into the following categories:
You must be a homeowner or a private rented tenant
Your home must have an EPC rating of E, F or G. If you don't know your EPC rating please click here
If you don't have a valid EPC we offer an EPC service that includes a detailed report on the energy performance of your property
Please note social/council housing is not eligible.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER WAYS TO QUALIFY?
There are two routes for available to qualify if no one in the property receives one of the initial qualifying benefits - LA Flex.
To qualify via LA Flex we must have a relationship with the council your property sits within and meet one of the following routes:
- Route 1: Household income must be below £31,000 gross.
- Route 2: If someone in the household suffers from a health conditions such as Arthritis, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Angina or similar heart conditions etc.
