WHAT IS ECO4 FUNDING?
Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government energy efficiency scheme that aims to reduce carbon emissions and make energy affordable for all.
The ECO4 scheme will focus on supporting low income and vulnerable households. The scheme will improve the least energy efficient homes helping to meet the Government's fuel poverty and net zero commitments. It is a government scheme, led by the private sector, not the council, Under the scheme, qualifying Homeowners and private tenants may be entitled to energy efficiency improvements to their homes for free.
WITH ECO4 FUNDING YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING UPGRADED HEATING SYSTEMS
AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
The ECO4 grant scheme is designed to provide free air source heat pumps and insulation upgrades for inefficient properties.
SOLAR PANELS
Solar panel are devices that sit on the top of your property room and converts sunlight into electricity
INSULATION
Retain warmth inside and prevent cold drafts from entering! Insulating your home remains an effective way to save energy and money.
FIRST TIME CENTRAL HEATING
The First Time Central Heating Grant is available if someone in your household is receiving benefits.
BOILER REPLACEMENT
A boiler is a closed vessel that that heats your water. If your boiler is over 17 years old you could be eligible for a replacement.
